Authentic early vintage children's or kids 2 Piece pajama outfit is really the bees knees!
This looks to be 50s era to me, but not positive. I don't think later than mid- 60s.
The designer is CAPER KNITS with a cool retro label with Atomic era look
Additional tags state 100% Nylon fabric and children's size 7 --can be a Unisex item, of course
This particular matched set has no damage or major flaws, in solid, great shape for 50-60 years old!
It does show signs of normal wear and washing, such as the turtleneck showing a crease where folded
Amazingly, the elastic in the pants is not rotted and still has stretch, maybe 1-2 small thread pulls
Also, the footed pajama bottoms have no holes, not even darkening from wear
Would make an excellent retro, mid-century editorial photo shoot for your mid-mod family Christmas card
Or would be a hard-to-find kids costume for a period piece set in the Atomic Age or Mid Century era: think Mad Men era kid characters or maybe Ralphie and his brother from A CHRISTMAS STORY
May also be of interest to doll collectors with large sized jointed dolls.
The diamond Argyle geometric pattern is so retro and so are the Pepto-Bismol pink and Burgundy colors
Labeled kids size 7
I will also provide measurements below which you should use as a guide:
CHEST pit to pit : 11" (doubled 22")
LENGTH back side neckline to hemline: 11.5"
SLEEVE: top of shoulder seam to cuff: 13"
SHOULDER TO SHOULDER front: 10"
PANTS WAIST: 7.5" across (14" doubled) elastic will stretch to 20" doubled, comfortably
PANTS LENGTH waist to tip of foot- 26"
FOOT LENGTH heel to toe- 5"
