PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This cocoon is an item that I found very useful for my daughter. Since it is not recommended for a baby to sleep with blankets, and sleepers aren't always thick enough (at least in February in Michigan), one can add an extra layer of warmth without adding a suffocation risk. This cocoon has been designed to reach AT MOST up to the infant's shoulders. It has a small-medium sewn-on flower for some flair. Feel free to use for newborn pictures as well!

It has been made by my own design, and is patterned after a midsized infant's sizing for general length and proportioning.

This item is hand crocheted, and made with acrylic yarn.

These photos were taken in my home, both in natural sunlight and under lamplight, and I strive to portray the colors as accurately as possible, but please take into account computer monitor variations in color.

*Please note that while this comes from a smoke-free home, I do own a cat. Every effort has been made to keep the items separate, but I cannot guarantee 100% pet-dander free items. Also note, I would advise all buyers to use caution when giving my handmade items to young children. They are made to be child-safe, but adult supervision is always recommended.

DIMENSIONS

*This cocoon has been made to fit a newborn up to 4 month old, but it depends on the length of the baby. the infant in the picture is 5 months old to show usage.
This cocoon is 20 inches long (should at most reach just under the tops of the shoulders, and will be too small when it cannot touch the armpits) and 11 inches across, or approximately 22 inches in circumference.

*PLEASE DO NOT USE ONCE THE INFANT BEGINS TO ROLL. PLEASE USE RESPONSIBLY.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

I would recommend washing on the gentle cycle, inside out (because of the applique) and tumble dry low. Please wash solo the first time, as there may be some color running occurring.
